Our metal detection systems are used in a variety of recycling applications worldwide to defend processing equipment and ensure the recycled materials are free ferrous, non-ferrous and stainless steel metal contaminants.

The SurroundScan Protector HD Ultra is designed and manufactured for recycling applications that need to detect and recover fire hazards such as lithium batteries. The SurroundScan Protector HD Ultra detects the batteries before they can be damaged and ignited by balers (processing equipment) that are used to compact corrugated cardboard.

The Protector HD and Protector LP are designed and manufactured for recycling applications that need to remove metal contaminants and ensure product purity.

Our SurroundScan series of metal detectors can detect ferrous, non-ferrous and stainless steel metals and can be easily installed on conveyors upstream of processing equipment to detect contaminants that can be costly.
